  • The Nike SasQuatch 460 driver has taken driver club head design in a different direction - backwards! The heads of the SasQuatch 460 are slightly shallower and deeper than is normal these days, but it works as this pulls the weight low and further back to give a penetrating flight on the ball and a.

Nike Sasquatch 460 Driver Reviews. Bbrown1973 I bought a nike Sasquatch from golf bidder thinking I would get a battered driver with lots of imperfections! How wrong could I be! It was in immaculate condition and delivered promptly and well worth the 45 pound I paid for it. I have used it and it has improved my. Product Review: I used to play a lot of golf and I like my old Titleist 975D driver because I could hit it very long. I had that until the shaft was broken recently and I decided to buy a new driver. The Nike SQ 5000 is my first oversized driver and it's very forgiving and much better than Titleist. The looks and sound of the driver may not appeal to all, especially those of a more conservative disposition. But the levels of forgiveness are second to none, giving you the confidence. Like we said before we are all for companies pushing the envelope of technology here at MyGolfSpy. We have become painfully numb to all the new releases over the past 5 or so years which look almost like identical replicas of the previous years model…except for some new fresh paint schemes and a new sole design.

And as we predicted back in 2008 where we gave you a glimpse into the future of golf club design we knew that Aerodynamics would be one of the main areas golf club manufacturers would be looking to push that proverbial envelope of technology. And Nike has taken a page from some of its successful golf club design predecessors (Porsche Design & Adams Golf) with its newest driver design.

Nike SQ MachSpeed (Pushing The Technology Envelope?)

The new Nike SQ Machspeed driver however seems to have taken the concept 1-step further…and that is by incorporating improved aerodynamics throughout the golf swing not only on certain spots of the downswing. Well that is the theory at least…we have of course not wind tunnel tested this thing yet to see the results 😉 But Justin Leonard says he is hitting it 10-12 yards further. Wait a second…shouldn’t the average golfer be hitting 400 yard drives by now if all these 10-15 yard claims were true. Maybe my math is off…but I think I have been hearing these claims for about 15 years now which adds about 150 yards to everyone’s averages on my calculator.

Nevertheless we really like that Nike has at least tried to improve the functionality of the club…no matter what it looks like. And we look forward to test driving one to see if they do what they claim. As soon as we get our paws on one we will give you our brutally honest review as always.

P.S. – QUESTION: What do you guys think about the looks of this new driver?
