I realize this sounds like a dumb question, but where/how do I download/install the new patch on Xbox One? I've literally spent hours trying to figure this out, to no avail, and posted on the official forums, where I've been ignored for three days. Dragon Age: Inquisition has just received a brand new hotfix update on the PC platform to solve the issues encountered by players after getting patch 2 for the game via the Origin service relating. Origin should automatically download the hotfix patch. Everyone should now remove the Dragon Age: Inquisition command line workaround (if used,) as this will conflict with the hotfix. In the ps4 menu, go to your DAI game and click options on your controller. The first option at the top right is check for updates. Click there and the update will download and install.
BioWare also fixed several troubles such as an issue that prevented the resurrection of characters who died in deep water in the PC version, a bug that could sometimes break the Perseverance quest, and a fix to prevent players from salvaging items that equipped by other character kits in multiplayer, among others.
Dragon Age: Inquisition just received a new DLC pack, dubbed Jaws of Hakkon. You can read all about this new add-on, which released today for Xbox One and PC owners.
